The Business

Join us as an Investment Suitability Specialist in Bristol

  • If you are qualified to QCF level 4, this newly created role is a chance to provide important support to legacy customers of investment and advice products
  • You'll assess whether customers are suitable for further investment support – sometimes after changes in their circumstances – and decide whether to refer them to internal teams or our external partners
  • You'll enjoy direct contact with customers, providing them with important support

What you'll do

You'll undertake suitability assessments of historic investment and advice customers using responses to review documentation for their portfolios. In doing so you'll be identifying material changes in their circumstances, and following up with clients to determine whether any changes to the portfolio might be needed. You'll also be:

  • Advising in relation only to the portfolio and any changes, with any wider advice referred to a Wealth Manager or appropriate 3rd party
  • Liaising directly with clients to determine if their portfolio is still suitable
  • Making sure we comply with our regulatory obligations

The skills you'll need

You'll need to be qualified to QCF level 4 in order to apply for this role, and are likely to have experience dealing with clients on investment suitability. We'll also be looking for:

  • A strong level of technical knowledge relating to suitability
  • Broad general knowledge of the financial services environment and products
  • The analytical and reasoning skills to identify where clients' responses may need further investigation/analysis
  • Strong communication skills both by telephone and in writing
