The Requirements

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst and Planner to join us in London

  • As a Digital Marketing Analyst and Planner, you'll support and help steer the digital marketing function within RBS’s FinTech ventures
  • We'll look to you to develop and improve the reporting and analytics functionality and provide insight for marketing planning
  • You'll achieve excellent exposure and gain the opportunity to make a real impact with your work

What you'll do

You'll be responsible for digital analytics solutions, data mining and presentation. You'll also create valuable business insights to report on the performance of digital and marketing programmes in relation to KPIs. In addition, you'll be identifying optimisation points to assist digital media planning and creative execution, as well as opportunities to improve products in order to provide the best digital experiences possible.

Day-to-day you'll be:

  • Creating dashboards for marketing and wider venture functions
  • Delivering suggestions for test and learn programmes within digital marketing and the wider product team
  • Managing and executing the implementation of analytics tools and tracking
  • Facilitating regular stakeholder communication to make sure performance is understood across all stakeholders
  • Implementing best practice data collection and analysis across a range of tools, with a specific focus on Google Analytics and Adobe
  • Working alongside media agencies and development teams to manage, implement and maintain Google analytics and Google Tag Manager

The skills you'll need

We're looking for a strong team player who enjoys working in a complex matrix environment. You'll have experience with channel and campaign analysis, paired with experience in insight generation and data visualisation. Experience in both Google analytics and Adobe analytics is essential for this role.

You'll also demonstrate:

  • The ability to work with multiple stakeholders across multiple teams and products
  • Good working  knowledge of all aspects of digital marketing in order to aid the campaign planning process
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills allowing you to balance and deliver against multiple key priorities
  • A high level of drive and a personal commitment to success, together with a positive approach to change, and the eagerness to work in a constantly evolving environment
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working
  • Experience working with external agencies
