What you'll do

As a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst, you'll be preparing product and client level performance MI a financial analysis for the Large Corporate & Institutions business. Collaborating with UK based finance business partnering teams, your areas of coverage will include executive and MI reporting, trend analysis, client analytics, budgeting and forecasting as well as non-standard financial analysis.

As such, you'll spend a typical day:

  • Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial performance reporting
  • Supporting month-end activities including the completion of profit and loss and balance sheet reports
  • Collaborating with business partners to prepare forecasts and budgets
  • Reviewing all standard reports and ad hoc amendments
  • Providing business insight
  • Actively seeking to deliver improvements in data, processes and outputs
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Presenting monthly performance to business heads

The skills you'll need

We're looking for an experienced finance professional with a good understanding of banking and market principles and products. Drawing on your strong numerical and analytical skills, you'll have the ability to analyse financial information and will demonstrate an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheets and ratios.

We'll also be looking for you to demonstrate:

  • Experience of consolidating multiple layers of data
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships in an onshore-offshore model
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to identify and resolve issues independently
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Knowledge and the ability to work with business intelligence tools

SQL, Access and VBA knowledge would be an advantage.
