The Requirements

Join us as a Relationship Manager - Real Estate in Cheltenham

  • You’ll be developing close and personalised business relationships
  • With your business expertise, you’ll support our customers’ ambitions, and will simplify their banking experiences with us
  • You’ll be joining a talented and supportive Business Banking team and will achieve great exposure as you develop with us

What you'll do

You’ll support your own portfolio of business customers, building great relationships based on trust, that will allow you to identify, understand and resolve our customers’ business and financial needs.

You’ll also:

  • Work with business partners to tailor decisions to customer requirements
  • Promote great services to your customers, including self-service alternatives such as online and telephone business banking
  • Handle queries – understanding and responding to customer needs
  • Create new business opportunities
  • Make sure credit stewardship and data quality targets are met
  • Produce clear and concise credit lending applications

The skills you'll need

With a good understanding of the SME business market, you’ll have good financial, economic and market awareness. You’ll be able to use and interpret Profit & Loss data and balance sheet information.

You’ll also need:

  • An understanding of management accounts
  • Experience of ‘Know Your Customer’ and ‘Know Your Business’ procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • The ability to plan, organise and manage your time effectively
  • Ideally, a professional qualification in a relevant banking standard
